Hi, I’m Leo,
Welcome to this latest issue of SoloCodeVenture.
Today we’ll focus on creating a platform to help micro influencers get discovered by brands and at the same time help small businesses find micro-influencers for their marketing campaigns.
Now, if you’ve been here since day one you might have realized I already shared this idea. But I decided to re-write it from scratch because I changed SoloCodeVenture’s email structure since when I first wrote it and since I really like this idea in the first place I wanted to have more people read about it.
(Don’t worry: next Friday’s idea will be a brand new, I won’t start re-writing past ideas now)
If you want to check out the OG version of this issue you can do so here.

Overview 👀
What is it about?
The idea is to create a platform to allow micro influencers to connect with small businesses by automating the discovery process. Businesses on the other side can search for influencers that match their campaign needs.

Problem & Solution 🔍️
Problem to solve
With this idea we’re looking to solve 2 problems at the same time:
Micro influencers would like to monetize but they don’t know where to find sponsors
Small businesses struggle to find cost-effective and authentic influencer partnerships without having to break the bank with complex tools to find huge influencers
And, at the same time, the manual process of identifying and vetting influencers/businesses is insanely inefficient and make both sides waste a ton of time.
Solution to build
We would then build a platform that aggregates influencer’s and categorize them so that business can easily search and filter for the most relevant creators. The platform would be able to automatically fetch and organize influencers’ social media stats and offer an integrated communication tool for real-time negotiation and deal finalization.
Solutions like this already exist but what would set as apart from our competition would be focusing entirely on small creators and small business. You could even take it a step further by not allowing influencers with a following bigger than x followers to ensure on that on the platform there are just small influencers making it even more worth it and reducing competition.
