Overview π
What is it about?
The business idea is a micro-influencer discovery platform where content creators can sign up and have their social media statistics automatically fetched (followers, likes, engagement rates, etc.). These creators select their niche during the sign-up process, and the system categorizes them accordingly. On the business side, companies looking to sponsor creators can sign up, search for influencers based on their needs, and get matched with the most relevant creators. They can then browse the creatorβs sponsor options (pricing and packages) and use an integrated chat feature to negotiate and finalize sponsorship deals.

I am working on a platform that connects creators, such as micro-influencers, with businesses looking to sponsor them. Creators sign up, and the platform automatically fetches their social media data, including followers, likes, and engagement rates. They choose their niche during signup, which helps categorize them. Businesses sign up, define their sponsorship needs, and are matched with suitable creators. The platform allows businesses to purchase sponsorship packages set by the creators, with the ability to communicate directly via an integrated chat system.
The platformβs revenue model includes a one-time signup fee for creators, commission on each completed sponsorship deal, and a subscription option for businesses, offering unlimited access, exclusive features, and reduced fees on high-end transactions.
The MVP features will include creator profiles with social media data integration, niche-based search and matching for businesses, an in-platform messaging system, and a way for creators to list sponsorship packages. Future updates could introduce AI-powered matching and advanced analytics to predict campaign success.
The biggest challenges are revenue concentration on a few streams, competition from similar platforms, scalability, and reliance on social media APIs for data. To overcome these, the platform will need to explore additional revenue options and introduce features that set it apart from competitors.
Next steps involve developing the MVP with core features, preparing for a beta test, and launching with targeted marketing aimed at early adopters in both the creator and business segments. The platform's success will depend on the ability to scale efficiently, address user feedback quickly, and build competitive differentiation over time.
